Facebook question: How do I keep my posts on a particular group from showing up on my news feed?


I am on a couple of buy-sell-trade groups on facebook. Every time I post something on one of those groups it comes up on my newsfeed where all of my FB friends can see it. Is there any way to make it so those posts won't show up on my newsfeed? I have looked through the settings but I can't figure anything out.

meowmeow 		1.From your home page, hover your mouse to the left of the left side News Feed menu.
2.Select Edit
3.A list of people, apps, Pages, and groups you’ve hidden or unsubscribed from will appear in a pop-up box. Click the X next to each one you'd like to remove from this list. Removing someone or something from your list of hidden stories means those stories can appear in your News Feed again.
4.Click Save.

meowmeow 		in the top right corner of the post on the news feed there should be a little icon for a drop-down box that gives you the option to customize who sees those types of posts from that app or source.. try looking for that
