It's possible, but fake anti-viruses are typically no more than "ransom-ware". Meaning, they just annoy the piss out of you until you pay them to remove the nonsense they inflicted.

To be on the safe side, you can put out a credit alert so you will have to confirm any credit attempt in your name before it can go through.

Jamie H: Please re-read my answer as it addresses your question and edit exactly. Anyone can give an educated guess, but there is no simple yes or no as to whether they got any pertinent information from your or not. So again... to be on the safe side, make sure they can't do anything with it.

Yes it is possible that it stole your identity as it says it includes a keylogger, as seen on http://annoyances-resolved.tumblr.com/post/15566710522/win-7-antispyware-2012-removal
if you are really concerned you can request a change of your SSN. But offhand, chances of identity theft are small, as this seems to be just a scareware to scare you into giving them money for "protection", that is, fake protection.

It matters on how bad it actually got. If you just ignore it for months it will go stronger and eventually zombie your machine. Worst case is that it already has anything you seen and typed.

But it is just a fraudulent program, and usually just tries to get that referral fee for the AV its pushin.

Bottom line dont trust the net with your information UNLESS you really know what you are doing.

No need to worry you will be safe..........

These spy wares send pop ups to purchase their products. If we enter the credit card details for purchasing these spy wares, they will hack our credit card information. If u enter the details then only u have to worry.

There may be one more infection assosiated with it. It is Trojan.Zeroaccess

http://goo.gl/KRkZ8

. To check it's presence you have to do one thing.

In Windows XP
----------------------

Click on the start meanu and press on Run.
Inside the Run window type CMD and press on Okay.
In the black Command Window type
NETSH WINSOCK RESET and hit on enter.

If you get a message
"Sucessfully reset the Winsock Catalog.
You must restart the machine in order to complete the reset." then you are safe.
If not your computer is infected. The only solution to fix it is a Fresh Installation.

In Windows Vista and Windows 7
--------------------------------------…

Click on the Start Menu and in the Search box type CMD
At the top you can see a CMD file. Just right click on that file and select Run as

Administrator.

In the black Command Window type
NETSH WINSOCK RESET and hit on enter.

If you get a message
"Sucessfully reset the Winsock Catalog.
You must restart the machine in order to complete the reset." then you are safe.

If not your computer is infected. In windows Vista and Windows 7 a successful system restore

will fix the issue. Try a system restore to a good point.

After a successful system restore try to do the same step again.
If you got the message "Sucessfully reset the Winsock Catalog.
You must restart the machine in order to complete the reset." your computer is safe and secure.

It's a rogue antivirus program. Such type of malicious software does not steal personal identifiable information unless it comes bundled with spyware. Just scan your computer with anti-malware software.

Yes, what you have is a fake Anti Virus program. Win7 Anti-Virus 2012 contains spyware, so it is highly likely that you could of had your identity stolen. I've posted a link below detailing how to remove it, you will also need to contact your banks and any other organizations that need to be informed about your possible loss of identity.
