Win 7 2012 Computer Virus Removal?

I have Malware Bytes and Avira already downloaded to the computer. I've entered Safe mode and ran Avira but it doesn't find the virus, but it won't let me open Malwarebytes. Any help to get this virus removed from my laptop.?

My friend had the same problem. We found that simply ending the "Win 7" process in task manager allowed control over his computer to be restored... but doing that caused some sort of rundll32 error that disallowed him from opening any sort of .exe at all. This was easily fixed, though. Sorry if this isn't helpful, but start by trying to end the process.

EDIT:You mean this?:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-win-7-security-2012

Try that. With that infection you'll need more than just Rkill, Avira and MBAM. So be sure to check the guide before running Rkill.

Try running Rkill before opening Malwarebytes in safe mode:

Some malware has to be stopped before it can be removed.

If you know the name of the virus you have, like the name of the fake AV, if it is one check the same site above and you'll be able to find a guide.

Hope that helps.

You could format your hard drive. But then you would loose all of your data. Try to use avast to scan your computer, and see how that goes.
