how do i contact yahoo?


am getting very strange, seemingly illegitimate messages, not through e-mails, but through tabs. From someone I don't know and haven't had contact with. From a "gleninedeloozey576". May be malware. Can I delete this from tabs and block the sender?

garfield 		Blocking spam is ineffective. Spammers have programs to 'spoof' or fake addresses, or they go through proxy servers to disguise the real address. These 'contacts' are a form of spam.

In Mail, there are two ways to appear permanently offline to someone.
Here’s how to block them right now:
1. Open a chat window with the ID of the person you’d like to block. (They won’t see anything.)
2. At the top of the Chat window, click Block Sender.
3. Finish by clicking the x to close the tab.

Here’s how to block someone if they try to start a chat with you:
1. In the chat window that they opened, click Block Sender along the top. That’s it.
*** If you want to block a contact who’s in your Messenger List, you’ll first have to remove them from your buddy list in the Yahoo! Messenger client. (Write down their contact ID first.)

To disable Messenger Chat in Yahoo! Mail:
1. In the top-left of new mail or in Folders list in Classic mail, click the word between your Yahoo! ID and Sign Out (It’ willl be either Available, Busy, or Invisible).
2. From the menu that appears, select Sign out of Chat to disable chat from within Yahoo! Mail. Your Contacts list disappears and your chat status is set to Offline.

Note: Yahoo! Mail saves your chat status when you leave Yahoo! Mail. When you return to Yahoo! Mail, it resumes the same status. If your last chat status was Offline, chat from Yahoo! Mail will be disabled. You’ll remain signed out of Yahoo! Chat until you re-activate it.7
