How do i know if my computer is equipped with microsoft office 2010?


I need to have it for an online class I'll be taking next month. When I click on microsoft word, it pops up saying microsoft word starter 2010. Does that mean I am fully equipped?

garfield 		Only if bought it...if you didn't and its on your computer its probably only a trail. Download the whole version for free and save $100 by going to piratebay.org. use YouTube if you don't know how to use it.

garfield 		No, MS Office Starter is a bare-bones version of the Office suite. It basically lets you do basic tasks but is not the full Office 2010. That needs to be bought and installed separately.

garfield 		That depends entirely on what the Online course's pre-requisite software requirements are.

Go to their website and they should tell you which version of MSO 2010 is needed for this online class.

That said, JavaLad's answer is dead on, regarding the differences between MSO versions. And, here's your Upgrade options, with prices, if Starter is NOT good enough:
