Is it ok to use an arcade stick for xbox 360 for online play if it isn't licensed by Microsoft?


The one I want has a turbo feature but I don't think it's licensed by Microsoft though it's licensed by aksys...Whoever that is.

Anyways could I be banned for using it since it's not licensed? Again it has turbo?If I use turbo could I be banned?

meowmeow 		The controller does not need to be licensed by Microsoft to be used and you won't get banned for that.

To date, Microsoft has very little about modded controllers. A few have complained that they got banned for using one but the vast majority of users have not. My personal belief is that those who got banned were probably actually banned for something else. Microsoft HAS cracked down quite a bit lately on cheating.

Last time I checked, the use of a modified controller was NOT against the Terms of Use. Keep in mind, though, the folks you're playing against will hate you for using it and you will suffer a lot of grief for it.
