What are the benefits of becoming a Microsoft Office Specialist and how much does it cost?


I'm interested in becoming a Microsoft Office Specialist because the area I live in has a terrible job market and I think having this certification might give me an advantage. Does anyone know the benefits of having this certification and roughly how much all the classes cost?
