should i buy an hp touchpad when they become available?


im considering buying an hp touchpad since hp will be making more. what i want to know is if they'll release updates for webOs in the future or not and if you think its worth it?

meowmeow 		They are making more, yes. However, there are thousands of people on the wait list (through hp.com). The new touchpads will go to these people first. What limited resources they have left to make more will not even cover all of the people who are on the wait list. Sorry, but you're out of luck.

meowmeow 		That's the question people don't know. I'm skeptical because their only justification to re-release the Touchpad is that they saw high demand. Well guess what? Nobody cares about the Touchpad other than price, as soon as it's as expensive as it was again people will ignore it.

I would stay away from it personally.

meowmeow 		Hp touchpad comes with 1 year limited Hardware and full tech support. HP said they will be discontinuing hardware but not webos software support. That means you will still see updates in webos. I am seeing new apps in HP's app store everyday. Also, sometimes HP offers paid apps free. meowmeow 		I heard from reliable sources at staples and other stores that sell them, that the price will go back up. so i guess this sale was just a promotion thing. but you can try to find some on ebay like
