How do i connect my xbox 360 to the internet?


i recently got roadrunner for my internet.
and well i cant figure out how to get it to go through my xbox, when i put my ethernet cord in the back of it, and go to test connection, it says there was a problem connecting.

Now my ip address is right and so is my DNS

whats wrong?
my internet works on my computer just fine.

meowmeow 		For Xbox Live connection you need an xbox live ID which costs money. First of all when you do a connection test there will be three phases. Phase one is Network Connection Test, then it will move to Internet Connection Test. Finally it will do an Xbox Live Connection Test. You need check which part went wrong. If Network and Internet connections passed then you just need an xbox live gamer tag which you can acquire by going to account then choosing "Join Xbox Live". After that you just follow the steps.
