Best laptop computer for music downloading?


I am currently shopping around for a laptop computer. Unfortunately, I don't know much about them, but all I know is that I would like to purchase a laptop that is efficient for downloading lots of music, videos, is able to maintain speed while running many programs, and that doesn't have a short battery life. Any suggestions? Also, although I would love a Macbook, my budget is limited to a maximum of $800.

meowmeow 		Well a macbook for $800 will be on the low end, most good macbooks start around $1300. However fro $800 you can get a really good laptop for what you need (Toshiba, HP, Gateway). The most important thing you need to be sure of is that they laptop processor is at least 2.2GHz, 4GB of Ram, and at least 250GB of memory. If you get a laptop with that meets this then you will be able to download music and videos's faster then you think.
