How do I get 256 Megabytes on my computer?


In order to download a game, I need 256 megabytes. How do I get those?

meowmeow 		computers do come with ( or you can add ) memory and hard disk space.
nowdays they are counted in giga bytes ( 1000 megabytes).
are you looking for 256 megabytes because teh game vendor recomends it?
fi so, i would not worry , just right click on the mycomputer icon, select properties and it will tell you ho much memory you have as per disk space , right click on the C drive and select properties.

meowmeow 		You are confused.

If you want to know how much 'space' (capacity) is left on your PC, just click 'My Computer' or 'Computer' in later versions of Windows.

A window pops up showing you the facts.

If you have more than 256 Megs, you are safe to download it, provided what your download is not compressed (zipped), or it will decompress to more than the 256 Megs.

Download it anyway, if you do not have enough space to decompress, the installer will tell you.

You can then create more space on the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and re-install the download.

meowmeow 		256 megabytes of what? RAM for your motherboard or RAM for a video card or space on a hard drive?
