Is 2012 a new beginning? What does that mean? Big advances in technology or start over again with nothing?


Basically are we going to continue to have cars and computer and such or return to the basics (such as u know like sticks and stones) and also the whole power grid outage?? Is that the end of our technology or can we rebuild it

meowmeow 		thanks guys for your answers... haha i just worry about everything too much. i still dont understand though what people are meaning by saying a new beginning like what does this mean... nothing? or do they actually think something will like happen that gives us a new start so to speak... if anyone has insight please tell... i don't believe anything will happen, even more so now... Just want to know what people mean when they say that

December 21 - 2012 People say its "a new beginning" because the Mayan Calander ends on this day.
Also, some other tribes (not sure which one, like across the globe) calander predicts the same thing.
The interesting part about that is that those 2 tribes never met each other.

-Mayan Calander - Its predicted nearly all Solar Eclipses, planet lineings, meteor showers ect. to this day.
This calanders last day is December 21 2012. Also, all the planets are soposed to align on this day. And im not too sure, but i think this only happens like every thousand years or so..

For more info, go to the history channel website, they had a show about 2012, was really interesting.
I personally cant wait for this day, i really wanna see want happens.

meowmeow 		I doubt much will change. It's Y2K all over again. There's still a possibility something will happen, but no more than something bad happening tomorrow or next week. At least, that's what I believe.
