If the technology to travel back to the past was possible?


Wouldn't there be an almost infinite amount of occurances where people from the future were coming back to our time?

meowmeow 		Time travel to the past is not possible due to the simple "grandfather proof" -- suppose you were to travel into the past and do something which would prevent you from taking the journey (such as killing your grandfather when he was a child). Then you would not take the journey and the past would be unaffected. And the unaltered past led to your taking the journey . . . QED.

not likely as the energy to travel in time would be huge.
"Why come visit us?" would be a better question.

meowmeow 		No. If time travel were publicly possible in the future, there would also be a need for a second force to keep them from doing anything in the past that would change the course of history. Known as a paradox.

Besides, if someone came back here and said they were a time traveler, would people believe them anyway?

Point is, even if people are visiting us they never say anything because no one would believe them and they would be locked in a mental hospital with a needle in there butt for the rest of there lives.

Also, if the future hasn't happened yet, how can some one come back from somewhere that doesn't exist yet?
