If i put my router in my basement, will i still get internet connection on my second floor?


I have an xbox 360 in my basement and I want to go on xbox live. I also have a computer on the second floor. Will i get internet on my computer from the second floor if i put my router in my basement?

meowmeow 		You should be able to. Usually your neighbors can get signals too. It may not be as strong though but it should still work.

meowmeow 		If your computer is wireless, then most likely yes. If not, you'll have to run a cable from the basement to the second floor. Easiest thing to do is to move it down there and see. If it doesn't work, move it back. :)
