How do I know if my router is wireless?


I have a router and I think a modem above it. You can tell I am not good with computer stuff. So I just wanted to know if my router is wireless. How can I tell?

meowmeow 		An antennae from your router is a giveaway that it is wireless. New wireless routers however does not have antennae. Determine if you have the terms “Wi-Fi” or “WLAN” written somewhere on the router. If you do then you have a wireless router. One of the LED lights should be labeled as “Wi-Fi” or “WLAN”. If you do not see these two terms anywhere on your router, more than likely it is not wireless. Determine from the manufacturer’s website using your router’s model number to be sure.

meowmeow 		On most wireless routers, if you have a light on it that says wireless or wlan, then chances are good that the router has wireless capabilities.
