2012 Ford Focus Titanium Aftermarket backup camera?


I don't know why I didn't pick this option when I ordered my car... I am wondering if I can get the Boyo Vtl375 license plate camera and use My Ford Touch as its monitor. I went to a Ford dealer and they said they cannot add anything to it even if I am willing to pay for it.....which don't make much sense to me...

meowmeow 		Cancel your car order. My 2010 Focus literally fell apart in less than one year and 5000 miles. Head gaskets, electrical system failures, clunking transmission, and failed $1500 ECM failure. Ford named this model incorrectly. It should not have been name Ford Focus...it should have been named Ford Failure.

meowmeow 		Getting an aftermarket item to 'talk' to a factory system is usually very hard, because the factory systems are custom made just to do what the factory wants them to do, nothing else. Anything else is just wasted $$$ to the factory. Now, you could look into buying the factory parts on e-bay & swapping them with the parts in your car...
